Most finance apps like this for Mac that I have tried don’t work all that well, this app is different it works very well. There are a few little things that I would like different but they are very minor. This app opens inredibly fast and is ready for input right away. The sync for this app is the best I have seen in any finance app so far and that is counting Windows, Linux and Mac. Of course when I was using Windows all the time sync really wasn’t a thing yet becuase it pre-dated Cloud but I still use it sometimes. Importing confused me at first, I didn;t realize that you had to create a account then import into it. The first time I ended up with everything all in one account. That was me though, I didn’t read how forst so that is my bad. Import works amazingly well. Everything imported and everything was in the right place. That is actually unusual for most apps. I even tried a few money apps that couldn’t import at all. I will admit it is pretty plain looking simple window but I prefer usability over pretty any day. If I could give this app ten stars I would. Try it if you are using another money app right now you will be amazed at how much better this one is. I just found out this app has a widget so I can make a transaction without opening the full app. That is so cool.

Does the job

im using this app in conjunction with the ios counterpart that I like very much. The app leaves me wanting for only one thing but that wont stop me from using it. As for the support, i was having an icloud syncing issue. I contacted the developer who was unbelievably helpful and patient with me in resolving the issue. I have NEVER experienced app support approaching this level. It was outstanding! If you are looking for an easy to use, reasonably priced and very functional finance app, youd be hard pressed to do better than this combo.

This app is great! Works very well. - Syncs perfectly with the iOS version using the latest iCloud enhancements (CloudKit). - A pleasent user interface. - Strong feature-set for most users at such an early life-cycle. A few minor things I’d suggest for improvements is the ability to bulk edit transactions (probably the biggest thing that’s missing in my opinion), and improve Reports so that one can exclude certain payees, categories, etc. from showing in the Report results. Some of these I consider biggies such as bulk-editing transactions, so that is why one star is missing from this review. I will update as needed. Overall, for most people, I think this is a strong app and the developer seems responsive and supportive of new feature requests. I recommend this app to users with average (read: day-to-day) financial needs. I’d also suggest this is the app that will give MoneyWiz a run for its money in the coming months and years if the Developer continues to be active on this application. This is most similar to MoneyWiz without the heavy price-tag, and with a similar interface and set of features.

Only just started using this app, so my oppinion may change, but as far as I can tell it uploads data well, is easy to use and has pretty handy features. Plus it’s way cheaper than anything else out there!

They are so easy to use, they work just like a charm and when you have a problem from North America, Ivan from France will get right on it ! I bought Parcel, the full version to track parcels from around the world you copy a tracking number and open Parcel then Boum open Parcel and the Israel Post ID Trackning is in place !!!! Just amazing. I believe that Débit et Crédit will just do the same ! Bought the full 3,49$ version eyes closed. This is a commitment to you Mr Pavlov ! As for support, Ze MAN speaks French, russian, english and I believe does most of the language packs from a pack of lab rats that he trained to it ;-)

Simple, fast, easy to use. Syncs with the cloud and is fast on the iPhone too. Cons: are it cannot split transactions i.e. $120 total, $20 is medical and $100 is groceries … you need to make two transactions. Also if your roommate gives you $50 for those groceries, on most of the reports your groceries expense is $100 and your groceries income is $50 … so it kind of distorts whats really happening. Despite its name, theres no direct way to use Debits and Credits if you’re so inclined … its “-“ or “+” or “transfer” which caused me to fumble a bit. Paying your credit card is therefore a transfer Two accounts was really insufficient to test the system out so I was quickly forced to upgrade just to see if it would even do what I want. For $3.49 its pretty good for me for now until I go to a bigger app to handle everything.

The app just simply works. If you want to keep track of where is your money going, then this is the app you want to get. It also has an iphone app so everything will be synced. I can add my expenses from either the iphone or my mac. You have to add all the information which I like because other apps take your bank information and automatically put in in the app and i do not like that. Great simple budget app overall. Shane.

I’ve been using this app for about 3 months now, to keep track of funds in two different currencies. I love the ease of adding new transactions, the transfer feature, and the fact that I can make accounts in different currencies. In future updates, I’d like to see some more reporting features. For example, I would love a feature that shows me how much I spend each day, each week, and each month. I can figure those things out in the current version, but there’s too much clicking to do so, in my opinion. Something that looks like a calendar, where I can see how much I spent that month, and then select an individual day (or week) to see how and where I spent my money on that day (or week). The app records date and even time of day for each transaction, so the data is there. It just needs a user friendly way to display it.

I like this app but why do I have to buy the premium version on my phone then pay again to have it on my computer?? If I only had to pay for it once it would be a good app but paying for it twice is definitely not worth it. Glad I bought it on the phone first since that’s way cheaper then the desktop version!

I have switched from Quicken Cash to this App. it meeds my needs. Quicken forced me upgrade every three years to be able to download bank transactions. This App keeps record of all my Bank Accounts and Credit card spending. I am able to transfer funds, return items purchased through Credit Card, edit transactions to make changes smoothly.

I’m glad I found Debit & Credit. I was looking for an app that did not want to get into my banking statements itself, that worked with, well, a debit/credit accounting paradigm, that was easy to use, flexible, and did not get in the way. This app is all of that. It also has some pretty enlightening reports, transaction splitting, excellent syncing between iOS and Mac, and some features I care less for but others may love: deferred transactions, budgeting, etc. I use it daily and I love it.

Good app. Please add feature that shows expenses per day and that sum expenses of the marked transactions.

I tried many different apps for bookkeeping/accounting for OSX over the past two months, looking for the best fit for me. Not too complex, not too simple, well-developed and executed and not too expensive. D&C fits perfectly for my needs. This app combines a friendly UI with enough detail on the bookkeeping side to keep me updated on my accounts. A very well thought out app. Free and regular updates are a big plus. Sounds kind of odd, but this app makes me *want* to keep up on my home transactions. Pleasure to use.

I was looking across the App Store for an app to track my expences and I bought many apps for this purpose but no one was really easy to use like Debit & Credit App is! I can sync my budget and all my accounts across all my devices in a sec, is really easy to use! By the way it has a beautiful design! Thanks for this app!!! Really the best app for personal finance!!!

Just buy it. It is a really good looking, easy to use and great app for keeping track of your expenses. Been using it for about 5 months and already seeing the great results ;D

I hated the thought of living w/o Quicken and after trying a few other options I happened to see this. I Love it. Simple, easy, reconciles great. Haven’t had to use the split category option that was just added. I’m a Fan!

This is a great app for managing the budget; I’ve been using it daily since June (7 months now). I use both the iOS and OS X versions and they work perfectly together. The support is great - the developer is always looking for ways to improve it’s usefulness, and there are many updates with fixes as well as new features. Highly recommended!

Love this App, very easy to setup, easy to add categories which you designate to keep track of your expenses. This enables me to track expenses, look closely at where my money is going & adjust my budget criteria as necessary. Sure there are a large variety of much more comploicated Finance tracking Apps, all I need is a simple easy to use, easy to see, take very little time App to track money - this is it. I am returning after using this app another month. Continue to Love this app. Very user friendly & simple. Does a really good job of tracking my expenses & shows me how much & where my money is being spent enabling me to either adjust my budget or control my spending in certain areas. I believe this actually saves me money because I am so much more aware of expenditures. I would like to be able to edit previously posted amounts. There were 2 separate times I neglected to add a period which greatly skewed the results but I deleted the entry & added a new entry using the same date. Returning for a 3rd time after 9 months of using the App & have become expert. I no longer use any other type financial tracking for home use, this app is perfect for me. I am able to keep track & review expenditures easily with 2 separate checking accounts & have adjusted categories to suit my personal preferences. If you want a basic home budget tracking accounting app - this is the best & I have tried numerous. I leave it sitting in my Dock for everyday access.

I’ve been using this app for over a year to keep track of my financials, bank accounts, and credit cards. I don’t use all of its features; I just like to keep it simple.
